Mat Franco Extends Las Vegas Residency Through 2030

The first magician to win "America's Got Talent" marks 10 years at The LINQ with a deal that runs to 2030

LAS VEGAS, Nevada, March 7, 2026 — Mat Franco has signed a five-year contract extension with Caesars Entertainment, securing his run at The LINQ Hotel in Las Vegas through 2030 — a commitment that will mark 15 years on the Strip by the time the deal runs its course. It is the second time Caesars has extended Franco since he debuted “Magic Reinvented Nightly” at The LINQ in August 2015.

The announcement coincides with the 10th anniversary of Franco headlining the theater that bears his name. In that decade he has performed more than 2,750 shows.

“This show started as a dream,” Franco said in a statement. “Ten years later, it’s become my life’s work. Las Vegas has given me the chance to build something truly special, and I’m incredibly grateful to Caesars for believing in me then — and now — through 2030.”

Amy Graca, senior vice president at Caesars Entertainment, echoed the sentiment. “Mat’s talent and creativity continues to captivate audiences at The LINQ, and his commitment to delivering a world-class live entertainment experience have made his show a huge success,” she said in a statement. “We’re excited to extend our partnership through 2030 and deeply grateful for the joy he brings to our guests night after night.”

The story behind the show is rooted in a lifelong obsession. Franco grew up in Johnston, Rhode Island, where he fell in love with magic at age 4 after watching it on television. His grandmother, Eleanor Campellone, became his first assistant and most devoted early audience, spending hours watching his tricks while he was still too young to read the instruction books himself. By 12, he had saved enough money from local performances to fly to Las Vegas and study with some of his idols — among them, Jeff McBride. At 15, he performed on the Riviera Hotel stage as part of the Society of American Magicians’ “Stars of Tomorrow” showcase.

After earning a business degree from the University of Rhode Island, Franco spent four years touring the college circuit, performing close-up magic at libraries, offices, restaurants, and campuses across the country. His AGT audition in 2014 was, by his own account, purely tactical — a way to get video content to help land more gigs. Instead, he made history as the first magician to win the competition, and Las Vegas came calling.

“Magic Reinvented Nightly” plays to 600 people per show across a 90-minute performance that Franco describes as a living, breathing experience — one where no two evenings are exactly alike. The show has collected a string of honors including multiple Gold Winner designations from the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Best of Vegas Awards and a four-time “Best Headliner” citation from the Southern Nevada Hotel & Concierge Association. In July 2017, Clark County declared July 10 “Mat Franco Day” and presented him with a key to the Las Vegas Strip.

Beyond the stage, Franco has been an active community presence. He has supported The Animal Foundation through annual supply drives and fundraising, and donated $20,000 in winnings from an appearance on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” to the Nevada SPCA. At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, he was among the first entertainers to livestream shows for fans, and later produced a dedicated performance honoring first responders and essential workers upon Las Vegas’s reopening.

Franco is also set to be inducted into the UNLV College of Fine Arts Hall of Fame on April 21 at a ceremony at Wynn Las Vegas — an honor that places him alongside a roster of Las Vegas entertainment legends including David Copperfield, Penn & Teller, and Lance Burton.
