Beverly Hills, California, USA, August 11, 2026 — Close-up magician Kameron Marshall secured his place in the America’s Got Talent Season 21 Live Shows after a Judges’ Callback performance at Sofía Vergara’s home, in a round that Vergara made clear would advance only one of her two magician picks.
Marshall and fellow magician Darrell Moten had both impressed at their auditions but were called back by Vergara for a second look, alongside three other acts from her original picks: dog trainer Olivia Befus, singer Brook Lynn, and beatboxer Vahtang. Guest judges Lele Pons and Sebastián Yatra joined Vergara for the evening.
A Head-to-Head for the Final Magic Slot
Marshall performed a close-up card routine that drew Vergara, Pons, and Yatra directly into the trick, asking the three to predict the colors of various cards before building to a reveal in which the selected cards spelled out the judges’ birthdates. Then a reveal that seems to go wrong resolves itself when a miniature card is revealed inside a full sized playing card when torn apart.
Vergara called the performance ‘amazing’ on the spot. She later told her fellow judges that Marshall’s style felt natural and interactive, saying, ‘We’re part of it.’ She also noted her concern that the season already had a large number of magicians in contention, though it did not change her decision.
Of Vergara’s five Callback acts that evening, Marshall, Befus, and Lynn advanced to the Live Shows. Vahtang and Moten were both eliminated.
Marshall now joins magicians Hundred Fingers, Young & Strange, and Geno Ploeger advancing to the Live Shows, which begin August 18.
