EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey, USA, September 29, 2026 — TJ Salta, the magician who won Netflix’s Star Search in February, will debut his first self-produced magic show, Unity, at the Dream Live Performing Arts Center inside the American Dream mall. Salta told Conjurly the show will run for two limited performances, December 26 and January 2, 2027.
Salta shared the news with Conjurly days after receiving the Rising Star Award from the Milbourne Christopher Foundation at its ceremony Saturday in New London, Connecticut. He told Conjurly the award reminded him why he fell in love with magic: “The ability to connect with people and make them feel something.”
That idea runs through the new show. “Unity is a cinematic live magic experience built around that same idea of connection,” Salta said. The production brings together mentalism, close-up magic, grand illusions, daring stunts, live music, and dance. “It’s a show about creating a shared experience and reminding people that, despite our differences, we’re all connected,” he said.
The Dream Live Performing Arts Center is one of the newest venues in the region. It opened July 25 inside the East Rutherford megamall and seats 3,000 across multiple levels for concerts, comedy, theater, and sports.
Salta, 25, won Star Search and its $500,000 grand prize in a finale decided entirely by viewer votes. The Norwalk, Connecticut, native previously performed in Cirque du Soleil’s Mad Apple in Las Vegas. After his Star Search win he called it a “first step,” and Unity is the next one.
Tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster and are expected to go on sale within the next week, Salta said. Ticket prices and exact showtimes have not yet been announced.
