LAS VEGAS, Nevada USA, October 15, 2026 — Now You See Me Live makes its U.S. premiere tonight at the MGM Grand Theater, following sold-out runs in Sydney, Perth and Singapore. The Las Vegas engagement runs through January 5, 2027, and takes over the theater from David Copperfield’s long-running residency. A second company opens an eight-week Broadway run at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on November 11, running through January 3, 2027.
The stage show is inspired by Lionsgate’s Now You See Me films and comes from the producers of the touring magic show The Illusionists. In the films, the Four Horsemen are fictional characters created by Boaz Yakin and Edward Ricourt. On stage, the Horseman title goes to real magicians performing as themselves. Simon Painter and Adam Trent co-created the live show, and Tim Lawson produces. Jenefer Brown, Lionsgate’s president of global products and experiences, said the live version aims to blur “the line between illusion and reality.”
The Las Vegas Horsemen:
- Andrew Basso (Italy), an escape artist and the first and youngest Italian to win the World Escape Championship.
- Gabriella Lester (Canada), an escapologist, the youngest Horseman at 22 and the only woman. She mastered Houdini’s upside-down straitjacket escape at 14.
- Adam Trent (USA), an illusionist who blends technology with sleight of hand across stage, screen and social media, and the show’s co-creator.
- Enzo Weyne (France), a large-scale illusion specialist who also serves as the show’s illusion director.
The Broadway Horsemen:
- Gabriella Lester (Canada), escapologist appearing after opening the show in Las Vegas.
- James More (England), an illusionist who rose to attention on Britain’s Got Talent in 2013. He was the first British magician on Broadway, in The Illusionists – Live on Broadway.
- Darcy Oake (Canada), an illusionist and Britain’s Got Talent Season 8 finalist. He performed for the Royal Family at Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday celebrations and appeared on Broadway in The Illusionists – Magic of the Holidays.
- Matthew Pomeroy (England), a mentalist and one half of the duo The Conjurors.
Lester moves to the Broadway company for its November 11 start. “Performing in London, at the Sydney Opera House, Vegas and now Broadway, this year is a dream come true. I couldn’t be happier,” Lester told Conjurly. She said she did not know who would replace her in the Las Vegas cast. A spokesperson for the show told Conjurly that no replacement for Lester has been named yet and that previous runs of Now You See Me Live have often featured rotating guest performers.
Tickets for Vegas are available on the MGM Grand website. Broadway tickets are available at ATG Tickets.
