Close-up

Without bragging (too much), MAGIC Live has consistently presented magic in the best close-up venues found at any convention anywhere. Our custom-built theaters, complete with lighting, sound, curtains, and raised seating, make our close-up show more than simply a show. That’s why we call it The Close-up Experience.

General Sessions

Featuring five or six expert speakers doing 18-minute talks, our General Sessions are a combination of shared knowledge, magic instruction, inspirational messages, celebrity interviews, and live performances.

Focus Sessions

Our Focus Sessions are in-depth workshops with the experts. Top performers teach their favorite subjects, including close-up, mentalism, business, family shows, creativity, cool new tricks, and more!

The Unexpected

Our team works year round to find new ways to surprise you, to create an environment for you to feel wonder again.

Attendees are regularly treated to unique concepts, such as experiencing magic while blindfolded, or a show without a performer at all, or an interactive journey in which each member of the audience plays a role in solving the mysteries.

Original shows are always a favorite, especially our live documentaries. Divided We Stand presented the story of Sawing a Woman in Half, It All Started with a Fortune Cookie covered 25 years of MAGIC Magazine, the tale of the Long Beach Mystics was told in Demystified, and Stars of Magic offered highlights from that classic book.

At MAGIC Live, you can always expect the unexpected.

Community

MAGIC Live has grown to be the largest gathering of magicians in North America, regularly selling out with 1,600 attendees — or as we like to say, “1,599 of your closest friends!”

Even with more than twice the attendance of other conventions, MAGIC Live still has a strong sense of community.  It begins with our Welcome Party, continues 24/7 in the Lounge, and wraps up at our Farewell Bash.

If magic is one big family, then MAGIC Live is the ultimate family reunion.
