Pasadena, California, USA, June 23, 2026 — Mentalist duo James Harrington and Marina Liani, performing under the name James & Marina, returned to America’s Got Talent Season 21, four years after their run on Season 17 as Mind2Mind ended in Deliberations.
Harrington and Liani are currently mid-residency at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, having opened an exclusive run in the resort’s Azul Lounge on June 4. In 2025, the pair received the FISM Gold Medal, one of the highest honors awarded by the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques, the international body that runs magic’s premier world championships. They were named Magic Castle Stage Magician of the Year by the Academy of Magical Arts in May 2026.
Their act centers on “second sight” demonstrations, in which one partner works blindfolded onstage while the other moves through the audience collecting names, objects, numbers, and colors that the blindfolded performer then identifies
For their AGT audition, Liani performed blindfolded, correctly identifying random audience items, the serial numbers on dollar bills, and card choices, with guest judge Mel B assisting in the routine. The performance earned all four judges’ yes votes.
