LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA, August 27, 2026 — It has been quite a year for Jen Kramer. The Westgate Las Vegas headliner married on the same stage where she performs nightly, hit her show’s 1,000th performance, and capped it off by being named Best Magician in Las Vegas Weekly’s 2026 Best of Vegas Readers’ Choice Awards. The publication announced the results August 27.
It marks Kramer’s second time winning the readers’ choice honor; she also took the title in 2024. Las Vegas Weekly credited her staying power to a “child-like sense of wonder” that Kramer brings to designing and evolving The Magic of Jen Kramer, the show she has headlined at Westgate since 2018.
April was especially eventful for Kramer. On April 24, her show reached its 1,000th performance, a milestone covered locally by News3LV, which noted she remains the only female magician currently headlining her own Las Vegas show. Weeks earlier, in an interview with Las Vegas Magazine tied to the approaching milestone, Kramer revealed she had recently married Dylan Jorgensen on the Westgate stage itself. Cami Christiansen, the resort’s president and general manager, officiated alongside the couple’s rabbi, and performers from the theater’s other resident shows, The King Comes Home and Soul of Motown, took part. Kramer worked her signature quick-change costume routine into the ceremony, cycling through gowns before finishing in a white one. “It was the best weekend of our lives,” she told the magazine.
Kramer also traced her run back to opening night in 2018, when Gloria Dea, widely credited as the first magician to perform on what became the Las Vegas Strip, came out in support. Dea, who made her Strip debut at the El Rancho in 1941, died in 2023 at age 100.
Kramer’s own path into magic started with a gift from her uncle: a copy of The Royal Road to Card Magic for her tenth birthday. Her first paid booking came the following year, at her younger sister’s birthday party, for a fee of pizza. She went on to found and preside over the Yale Magic Society while earning an honors degree in Theater at Yale University in 2014, then interned for magician Nathan Burton before building her own act in Southern Nevada.
Her résumé since has grown to include Female Magician of the Year honors from the International Magicians Society, a spot on VEGAS INC’s 2019 “40 Under 40,” a successful attempt to fool Penn and Teller on Fool Us, and appearances on Masters of Illusion and NBC’s Today Show. She also serves on the advisory board of Magicians Without Borders, a nonprofit that brings magic to refugee camps, orphanages, and hospitals worldwide, including trips she has taken to rural India and Central America.
Kramer told Las Vegas Magazine that the gender imbalance in her field is shifting: when she joined a youth magicians’ group in New York as a girl, she was the only one among twenty boys around the table; that same group, she said, now counts several young girls among its members.
