So what’s your New York story? Born here, or just arrived?
I moved to New York on July 1, 2025, to transfer my show from London’s West End, and it remains one of the most exciting days of my life.
Since I was a kid, I was inspired by my favorite magicians, David Copperfield, Doug Henning and Penn & Teller, and their iconic New York residencies. It’s been surreal starting a new chapter at this stage in my life, in a place I’ve always dreamt of living.
I knew Hell’s Kitchen was the place to call home, so I could be immersed in the energy and culture right in the heart of Manhattan. And bonus, I have a short commute to work!
What was your first job? What do you do now?
My first unofficial job was performing at my parents’ cabaret venue, The Horse and Jockey, in Market Bosworth (UK) when I was eight years old. I didn’t get paid, but it was the start of my career in that I learnt everything from watching the other acts and taking part as much as I could. I just wanted to be a part of that world.

What’s your favorite New York minute (or moment) so far?
One of my favorite New York moments was the very first morning in our Hell’s Kitchen apartment. I woke up around 5:30am, and decided to walk through Times Square as the sun was rising. Despite my jet lag, I felt this surge of energy wandering the city, and then I started seeing posters for my show, Amaze. It was a pretty exciting morning.
Share with us why you love Hell’s Kitchen
I love Hell’s Kitchen because it’s community-led. Yes, the bright lights of Broadway and the nonstop energy are thrilling, but it’s the smaller moments that mean the most. The neighborhood is filled with independent businesses and family-owned shops that give it heart.
