Nineteen-Year-Old Magic Castle Headliner Aidan Corcoran Stuns AGT Judges

The Torrance, California, mentalist made Sofía Vergara scream with a mind reading and burned-and-restored bill trick, earning four yes votes

Pasadena, California, USA, July 21, 2026 — Magician and mentalist Aidan Corcoran, 19, of Torrance, California, USA, earned unanimous approval from the judges on America’s Got Talent Season 21 with a mentalism routine that drew a scream from Sofía Vergara.

Corcoran is a headlining performer at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, having performed there more than 300 times by age 19 and having been featured in the venue’s “Future Stars of Magic” week. He discovered magic after being shown a card trick by a family friend and has described himself as an introvert who uses magic to come out of his shell. He told the judges his AGT audition was the largest audience he had ever faced.

A Burned Bill and a Matching Birthdate

For his audition, Corcoran handed Vergara a concealed object and asked her to keep it hidden between her hands, assuring her it “was not alive,” a comedic beat before the routine’s larger reveal. He then asked audience members to think of someone they cared about, correctly guessing the name of one audience member’s best friend.

Corcoran burned a dollar bill and made it reappear, intact, in Vergara’s hand. The bill’s serial number matched that same friend’s birthdate.

The reveal drew a scream from Vergara. Mel B asked, ‘What just happened?!’ Cowell noted an ‘air of mystery’ about the young magician. All four judges voted yes.
